Our classes are small: no more than twenty children in each, so each child is guaranteed a level of individual attention that the state sector cannot match. The children are encouraged to be their best at all times and are praised for their achievements. Our dedicated staff work hard to ensure that every child experiences success.
As a small school, we pride ourselves on our family atmosphere. We provide excellent pastoral care: "The provision for pupils’ welfare, health and safety is good throughout the school" (Ofsted 2010), and the children thrive here.
We feel that the best way to learn about a school is to see it in action. For this reason, we do not hold specific open days, but welcome parents to look around at any time. If you would like to visit us, please call us for an appointment, and we look forward to meeting you.
Mary Midgely The Nelson Scholarship and Webb Bursary: To honour Mr and Mrs Nelson, and Mr and Mrs Webb, we have established a scholarship and bursary for two children entering Year 3 in September. For more details, contact the school, or read the blog entry here.
Educating children for over 100 years, Netherleigh and Rossefield School is an independent school for boys and girls aged 3 to 11.
Excellent pass rates to local grammar schools. Our fees are very competitive.
"Netherleigh and Rossefield School provides a good quality of education for its pupils and meets its aims. Pupils make good progress because the quality of the curriculum, teaching and assessment are good." (Ofsted, May 2010)
